behind the scenes

the process

STEP 01

Fill out the contact form

Filling out my contact form will give me a basic idea of what you're looking for in a photography session and how I can help create the photos of your dreams!

STEP 02

planning Call

This is where we will get to know each other better and plan out the fine details of your session: where we will meet, what kind of artwork you'd like to create from your images, and how to best accommodate your pets' needs.

STEP 03

picture time

Relax and have fun! This is where your dogs' only job is to be a dog. I don't stress about getting them to sit or strike a pose, I like to treat it like a walk in the park and place them in beautiful spots as we come across them. Your dogs' comfort is my #1 priority!

STEP 04

ordering artwork

Finally, the part you've been waiting for! We'll meet up in person about a week after your session for the big image reveal and artwork ordering appointment. You'll get to touch and see all of the fine art that I offer and choose which images you'd like to turn into tangible keepsakes. You won't have to lift a finger, I will do all the designing and ordering and will even hand deliver it to your door!

Ready to schedule your session?

let's chat!

"But my dog would never sit still!"

Great! Action shots are some of my favorite! I have worked with A LOT of dogs in the past 9 years, so you can trust me when I guarantee to capture beautiful photos of your dog even if they are bouncing off the walls. In fact, sometimes these photos turn out the best and capture their personality the most! You will love to see the pure joy on your dog's face as they run wild and free.

"What if my dog has to stay on a leash?"

No sweat! All the cool kids are wearing them, and your dogs' safety is my #1 priority. In fact, having your dog on a leash is usually very helpful with guiding them to the perfect shot! With a little photoshop magic, I can remove most leashes, people, and background distractions with ease.

"what if my dog is scared of strangers or nervous?"

That is completely fine. The truth is, not every dog will be comfortable around strangers or a camera, and that's okay! After 7 years as a professional dog groomer and training my own dogs for competitive dog sports, I'm well-versed in dog body language. I am more than happy to work with your dogs' boundaries and needs.
